LIBYAN MEDICAL MAIL GROUP IN UK

ABOUT THE MAIL GROUP
The Libyan Medical Mail Group in UK (LMS) is a
nongovernmental Mail Group that provides a forum whereby Libyan clinicians,
Postgraduate medical students and allied professionals in UK may join together
to promote the social, cultural and professional activities among members of
the Mail Group.
LMS is established because the Libyan medical community recognized the
need for a medical Mail Group and much of the thought that lay behind the
organisation of the Mail Group evolved because there existed a great need to
solve the problems of medical education, training and research among trainee in
the UK and medical practice in the LIBYA.
In November 2002, a plan was developed by the founders of the Mail
Group, along with a suggested constitution and submitted to a group of
interested physicians. In ---------, a constitution and by-laws were drafted,
(still under discussion) that the final constitution will submitted to the
Charity Commissioners for England and Wales for registering as a charity
according to the Charities Act of 1993.
